The recent refugee crisis has highlighted a historical fact: Europe’s cultural, ethnic and religious diversity is increasing and will increase in a transformative way in the years to come. This new reality can lead to radicalization and segregation, affecting young people. Youth of migrant background and youth of hosting countries have to adjust and make sense of the changing realities. This makes it necessary to use dialogue as an efficient way to communicate, explore & understand our differences in the attempt of defining our collective identity. The project „Youth for Dialogue" aims to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes in youth workers and youth in order to answer the new challenges regarding the increasing multiculturalism in Europe. Objectives: O1. To transfer knowledge, form attitudes and abilities in organizing and leading dialogues and equip with dialogue tools 25 youth workers through organizing "Youth for Dialogue" training; O2.To give sustained support to the 25 trained youth workers for the implementation of the dialogue methodology in their own countries. O3. To promote dialogue as a non-formal tool, over a period of 6 months, through a six-days training, 5 dialogues organized and lead by the newly trained youth workers (one in each partnering country); O4: To create a multi-national network of youth workers that promote and use dialogue, by providing them with an on-line platform for exchanging dialogue specific tools and expertise, and share experience and best practices. O5: To form a positive attitude towards ethnic and religious diversity in 5 communities from Romania, Germany, Ukraine, Poland and Moldova during the 6 months of the project.
