Objectives of the project are: 1. To raise awareness about the similarities of the religions. We plan to achieve this by having presentations about all three religions, making visits to their religious places like mosque, church and synagogue in Oldenburg and to have debates and discussions about the philosophies behind these three religions. 2. To raise awareness about misleading information hate speech against different religions. We will make a small social research of our national newspapers and social media platforms to detect existing hate speech and misleading or wrong statements about religion and will find real information to that misleading statements. We will publish these lies and truths in the newspaper we will do. 3. To expose stereotypes about religion. We will make theatre education using Augusto Boal constellations and sociodrama to express our knowledge about the religions to be observed which stereotypes they express. 4. To offer young people platform to express any emotions regarding any religion, may that be fear, love, hate or doubt and address it in the frame of democracy and human rights. We plan to make several debates and discussions for young people to develop and share their opinion, which will be given different platforms to develop their opinions on. We mostly want them to develop social skills, learning to communicate properly and to be empathic, to be critical in thinking and making their own mind, to be able to express their opinion, may that be with words, art or body and to listen. We will make a pro-et-contra activity about contradictory rules that have been implemented lately in our societies like the law about not wearing hijab or the law of shaking hands with the officials. We will also watch some interesting documentaries like the documentary One of Us, that is talking about the orthodox Jews in New York and have a debate.
