The main goals of the mobility project were set based on the internal evaluation report and the school development plan, where the school's main goal and need is to increase the professional skills of employees, offering opportunities to upgrade themselves through various training programs, including the Erasmus+ project. A teacher with international experience has been inspired to diversify her/his work thanks to the learning experience and is motivated to contribute more to her/his work in the future. Main goals: The skills and competences of Saku Gymnasium's employees have increased in implementing a changed learning concept to support student development. The didactic skills of teachers in teaching students, differentiating teaching and developing creativity have been strengthened. The creation of an age-appropriate, safe, positively influencing and developing learning environment for the student has been supported through skillful management of the learning process at both the classroom and organizational levels. More innovative and innovative methods are used in school management. International cooperation has been strengthened through new cooperation partners and additional development opportunities.
At the time of the application, major changes were taking place in Saku Gymnasium, both in the community, the team and the school structure. The number of students shows a rapid upward trend, and a new building for high school students is also being completed. These aspects lead to growth of the team, set higher expectations for teaching as well as change management. Self-improvement is particularly important at the international level, which is also indicated by the current school development plan. Teachers have been encouraged to participate in various international trainings and despite the COVID restrictions, we have managed to implement the planned activities. A large number of teachers want to find international opportunities for self-improvement, and we support them in finding training that matches their needs and wishes, so that the effect of cooperation can be felt more clearly in their daily work. The interest in international cooperation is constantly growing, because as a follow-up activity we always use internal training and extracurricular reporting as a follow-up measure to disseminate the results, that is, other colleagues also become aware of each learning process and gain experience.
