Objectives

The project had four main objectives: 1. Ensure the sustainability of the school through international communication; 2. Contribute to the development of output-based curricula; 3. Develop the competencies of students and fully support their progress; 4. Develop the competencies of teachers and fully support their progress. With the project, we wanted to meet the school's development goals and needs, for example, ensuring high-quality learning, competitiveness and enabling lifelong learning. We also wanted to continue and maintain international relations and develop further cooperation within the framework of the project. Above all, we wanted the students to get their first experience in the international labour market, develop their professional competencies and gain more professional knowledge. In the case of employees and teachers, the goal was primarily to increase the quality of teaching through the acquisition of new experiences and to bring innovative educational methods to school life. An important part was also the improvement of the general competencies of the participants, such as language use and cultural sensitivity.

Background

The overall objective of the Erasmus+ programme is to support the educational and personal development of the population through lifelong learning and to promote learning mobility, as well as cooperation, quality improvement, inclusion, equal opportunities, excellence, creativity and innovation at the level of education and training organisations and policies. So, this project is an instrument to create an educational space at the European level, also in Luua Forestry School. That will allow the school to organise high-quality and effective learning mobilities to increase professional competencies and motivation of students and education personnel. As a result, the quality of vocational training will also improve.
