Our objectives were: 1. to create an intercultural culture and understanding in our school. 2. To provide motivation for life-long learning and self-improvement 3. To build cooperation networks with other European schools 4. To get to know other educational systems 5. To visit European schools and attend classes 6. To come in touch with different practices and reflect upon them 7. To improve our administrative and teaching skills 8. To take care of the teachers’ well-being avoiding burning out
One reason for applying for the project was because our school lacked European orientation and connection to society and the world. Moreover, we are a group of teachers with many years of experience leading to the solidification of the way we teach. That is why we urgently needed to get in touch with new teaching methods, new practices and educational systems. We wanted to be more effective in our teaching which, consequently, will benefit our students.
