The main goal of our project is for our school to realize its digital shift and increase its extroversion, helping students do not leave school, to become citizens of the future, to go out into the world with the necessary qualifications. In particular, we seek, in an organized and appropriate way, to introduce new practices and innovative teaching methods based on the use of ICT, to mobilize the interest of our students and achieve better learning outcomes. In addition, to better organize the administrative functions based on digital media and using the experiences of the program partners. We believe that through this program, our school will positively strengthen its position in the local community and will broaden its European orientation. Teachers with the acquisition of the know-how and with the pedagogical utilization of ICT, will improve their skills and will increase their professional self-confidence and become more innovative. Students will benefit from the improvement of the quality and the immediacy of the educational process.
The present project entitled "Open digital school" is part of the long-term planning of the 1o EPAL Lamias, to create an environment of innovation and European cooperation, through which the digital shift of the school and an opening to the local community are aimed at.
