We wanted to modernize and improve jewellery design with 3D computer design software. This goal is achieved by learning the operation of modern 3D software RhinoGold jewelry design & 3D printing (6.0, 6.6), by our jewellery design and workshop teachers. Other goals were the development of relationships and collaborations with Spanish experienced jewelry designers for the future, to learn about the traditional jewelry of the Cordoba region, the contact-acquaintance with the Spanish culture and the daily life of the inhabitants of the Barcelona region, the learning of some basic expressions of the Spanish language , the improvement / renewal of the English language and the experience of socialization of the participants, due to their forced coexistence and their function as a group.
We want to provide to our students with the most modern and necessary knowledge and skills, so that, as tomorrow's professionals in the field of jewelry design and production, they are competitive in the domestic but mainly in the European jewelry market. Also, the implementation of a European mobility program KA1, targeting the needs of our teaching staff (both in design and in Internship), would give us: 1) Upgrade in the training program of our students, with obvious profits for our own students 2) Significant improvement of the knowledge of our teaching staff, in the 3D design & printing of jewelry 3) Significant progress in the design and production of jewelry by our Internship teachers, who are professional Silversmiths of Thessaloniki (improvement in speed and economy in the design & production of jewelry, with the possibility of collaboration in design via internet with the customer-buyer (interactive action)) and 4) Significant progress in the competitiveness of the Local Silver and Gold industry, at European and global level.
