With the current mobility plan, the management of DIEK Piraeus wanted to achieve, among other things: • The investment in knowledge and innovation in order to increase the employability rate of our trainees at the level of self-employment, but also at the cooperative level of creating sole proprietorships (start-up). • The development of Horizontal Skills (soft skills), such as creativity, communication, time management, self-confidence, flexibility and adaptability or teamwork, which are related to the personality of our trainees. • Dealing with objects in sectors such as tourism, shipping, gastronomy and health which are top sectors in the Greek market. • The internship in a real work environment which gives the trainees the possibility of contact with real working conditions and prepares them in the best way for their integration in the labor market. • Practicing foreign languages as a necessary tool for the professional development of trainees.
DIEK Piraeus, faithful to the commitment strategy as it was reflected in the VET Mobility Charter 20151EL01KA109014192, which is an honorary distinction for DIEK in the organization of proven quality mobility actions in the field of VET, proceeded to the planning and planning of DI. The plan for the training year 2019, which has been built in strict compliance with the obligations arising from the possession of the Charter, addressed the above 5 specialties, whose trainees participated in 5 streams of 14 participants +1 tutor as follows : 1st flow: "TECHNICIAN OF TOURIST UNITS & HOSPITALITY COMPANIES" in Cyprus (Limassol) with partner ShipCon Limassol Ltd 2nd flow: "CULINARY ART TECHNICIAN-CHEF" in Italy (Ascoli and Rome) with partner COEUR 3rd flow: "EXECUTIVE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMY IN THE SECTOR OF SHIPPING" in Romania (Constanta) with partner Athena Study and Training srl. 4th flow: "PHARMACY ASSISTANT" in Romania (Bucharest) with partner Athena Study and Training srl. 5th flow: "TECHNICAL BAKER-CONFECTIONERY" in Turkey (Canakkale) with partner AGSK The reason why this program was prepared, is that our trainees in all specialties in general, despite the fact that they are trained in the best possible way, the management of DIEK Piraeus considers that training abroad and in fact in large European cities such as Limassol of Cyprus with its huge tourist infrastructure, Ascoli and Rome with a large dowry in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine in general, Constanta the largest port in Romania and the Black Sea in general, Bucharest with the great tradition and the best universities in the field of Medicine, cosmetics and similar products and finally Canakkale in Turkey with oriental sweets, it has only benefits for the trainees, the trainers but also for a large educational organization such as DIEK Piraeus.
