The general purpose of the project was training the participants in Organization and Functions in Primary Health Care and Welfare structures (for the participants in the 1st flow and most of the 2nd) and especially in such structures founded in semi-urban areas in the host country (France) but serving both the inhabitants there as well as the neighboring towns. Also participants from the 2nd flow to be trained in the organization and operation of farms (verticaly integrated enterpise) of the primary sector in the same semi-urban regions in host country. An additional objective was to enable the participants to apply, develop and adapt core professional skills (for their specialty), and also cross / soft skills and abilities that are necessary for all workers today, as well as corresponding social personal and life skills. We also seeking for the interaction and acquisition of experiences of our participating students by contacting the students of the 2 schools - host organizations which for this reason we chose to be two Vocational Schools of the MFR association in France that are based in small towns and provide studies in an alternative way (school and work based) in specialties similar to those in our school.
We believe that implementation of European cooperation projects in Erasmus+ framework in learning mobility is a very important activity for a VET school that contributes to its effectiveness, modernization and attractiveness. Our school continuously seeks its qualitative development and the improvement of the educational services provided. We try to be outword-looking, and aim to cooperation with educational institutions and the labor market at a local, national and international level. In this context and based on our goals in the field of European mobility (enhancement of students' acquisition of key professional knowledge, collaboration with partners with specific characteristics, transfer of experience to usual teaching practice, development and expansion of apprenticeships we implement for graduates and promoting them in apprenticeship, staff skills development ect ) our school 7th EPA.L. of Patras, applicant and sending organization submitted in call 2019 a project application entitled "Practical Exercise in Primary Health Care and in Primary Sector in semi-Urban regions in France" in the context of Erasmus + / KA1 for the participation of 22 students in 2 weeks short-term mobility (2 flows of 10 + 12 students)
