The school applied for this project because it is globally recognized that there is a need for consumers and agricultural businesses to support sustainable agriculture, to ensure the production of high quality products and their delivery to the end consumers through a green supply chain. Information technologies, innovative practices and new transport channels are needed to meet increasing customer demands for fresher, cheaper agricultural products and faster delivered to the end consumer. The plan aimed to cover the diagnosed needs of the school unit which were: need for development of new skills of students & teachers learning new educational tools & teaching methods the cultivation of environmental consciousness Need for: Professional development of student trainees Development of intercultural skills of students and teachers strengthening the European profile of the school Development of networking of the school with European educational Institutes Networking with businesses in Europe Cultivation of a culture of cooperation Getting to know applied new and innovative ideas and services
