With this project, we aimed at the increase the pre-professional experience for students of 3 specialties, specifically in the specialties of the "vehicle technician", the "nursing assistant" and the "administration economy employee". Through practical training in modern professional environments we aimed at the following: -Vehicle technicians to familiarize themselves with new technology cars, suspensions, electronic systems and spare parts -nursing assistants to work in a completely specialized context in the field of nursing with an emphasis on geriatrics - the economy-administration employees to work in a social cooperative, where they will get experience related to tax and accounting issues. Trainees would have the opportunity to enrich their knowledge in specific areas of their specialization, learn missing techniques, acquire English and Italian terminology, gain confidence, develop a professional profile and start the process of envisioning and plan their working future. Through mobility, our students would develop their language skills, live in a foreign work, social and cultural environment, create cooperative relationships, participate in cultural activities and get to know for a while the culture of a European country.
VET LEARNERS flow: Connecting the vocational school with the modern labor market and equipping students with professional skills that will make them competitive in the European labor market were the two main goals of our school. Since the curriculum is outdated and the vocational high school in Greece has no connection with the requirements of modern professional fields, it was necessary to implement a training program through practical training (work placement) for 3 student specialties: vehicle technician, nursing assistant and employee of economy-administration. In these specialties, developments in recent years have been rapid in the service of modern cars, in geriatrics and cooperative accounting respectively. So this project was intended to bridge the gap between the mismatch between the provided professional skills and those demanded by employers in the Greek and international environment. VET STAFF flow: Not implemented due to force majeure. The training of 8 teachers was about a new lesson of the curriculum, "Creative Activities in VET".
