The aim of this project was to train teachers in a European context to ensure that examples of good European practice are transferred to our vocational training and that new methods learned increase the quality of our trainers' work. In this way can adult learners be well supported and sustainable employment and support for labor mobility guaranteed. In addition, this project aimed to enable our trainers to tailor their methods more specifically and individually to the needs of learners, to promote lifelong learning, and to offer an educational offer improved through the inclusion approach to minimize the number of early school leavers. Only in this way active inclusion, improved employability and socio-economic integration of disadvantaged and marginalized populations could be achieved. The participants of this mobility would acquire the ability to competently use new methods of adult education & to support people, to be self-determined and able to act and see themselves as learning facilitators. They would acquire skills and thus specifically promote the individual self-learning competence of adults, the ability to learn how to learn. Individualized education means empowering adult learners to learn from themselves.
One of the overall objectives of the European orientation and the participation of our vocational training in the Mobility Program was to train teaching staff continuously in a European context to ensure that examples of good European practice were transferred to our vocational training. The implementation of the mobility project was expected to make a significant contribution to Ergasia S.A. to meet quality and internationalization requirements not only for the organization itself but also for the local community and region. The requirements that we wanted to address with this project included: • Strengthening the learning level of our VET students • Expanding the professional horizons of our trainers by transferring know-how and European experience in an attractive learning environment that empowers participants through the use of innovative educational techniques • Our trainers would also learn how cooperation between different countries and cultures could be effectively achieved and how European cooperation in VET could strengthen local practices and strategies. • Our trainers to become familiar with the culture of extroversion, internationalization, networking and collaboration by sharing best practices & experiences
