"Be Active in Eco Way" was our first youth exchange targeted to the sustainable living as a part of ecological living and environmental protection for future generations is undoubtedly one of the most important issues in today´s society. "Be Active in Eco Way" imlemented by the young members of eco active social entreprise in cooperation with the young people of our partners. According to the reasearch we have done previous the application (it is written in the application form) we managed to raise the awarenes of young people and eager them to do basic actions for their environment – for example don’t separate the trash, don’t think about recycling or don´t reduce trash, not to mention zero waste concept or 5R. As for renewable energy resources,young people are now able to name the resources and to use them in reality, their daily lives, routines. Regarding their answers and needs that were clear after evaluating research, we developed the activities where young people learned about ecofriendly habits in more sectors where we included different factors including renewable resources.Insufficient knowledge about the subject and lack of activities of our peers/young people towards the topic were targeted as were the main reasons which encouraged us to write the project. Environmental sustainability concerns the natural environment and how it endures and remains diverse and productive. Environmental sustainability requires our society to design activities in order to meet human needs while preserving the life support systems of the planet. This, for example, entails using water sustainably, utilizing renewable energy, and sustainable material supplies.Our project supported that cause. The overall aim of our project was simply that all young people would be more eager to protect their nature. The specific objectives we managed to fullfill were: - to understand what is sustainable living and its importance for our lives - to talk about eco-friendly ideas - to learn which environmentally friendly sources participants can use in their daily lives - to provide space for enhancing creativity of participants which we consider as very important factor of this topic in order to increase interest of young people towards creating solutions and plans - to create sensitivity in participants to protect their nature and think about their future by showing the values of nature - to provide various interesting and creative activities which will empower young people as individuals to change their habits - to provide opportunity to learn in multicultural environment where they can learn global view on the topic with their peers - show young people how they can be active in society - to improve foreign language on specific vocabulary of the topic but also basic communication - breaking prejudices towards other cultures and more open-mindedness This project linked to Erasmus+ basic objectives because it met the needs of our peers, us ,improved our competences, createed more active community and provided more opportunities for us but also for future generations what we consider as really important nowadays - not to talk only about us but think about others as well.
