The main objectives were: - update the new teaching-learning approaches carried out in our school by training our teachers in the CLIL methodology, as well as other active pedagogies. In addition, consolidate and improve CLIL and STEAM projects in our schools, participating in training courses and job shadowing in schools where successful projects are developed. - consolidate the internationalization of our school by involving more teachers in mobilities so that they learn and experience the benefits of international cooperation, but also expand the network of European schools to cooperate in future collaborative projects (eTwinning and Erasmus) - improve the development of skills and abilities of our teachers, and consequently, of our students.
Our school has a long history of participating in international projects (eTwinning, Comenius and Erasmus), as well as welcoming teachers, language assistants and foreign students. In addition, we are participating in the regional CLIL program called GEP, in English and French, as well as the STEAMcat program. We applied for the project, because it was a project that aimed to train teachers in methodologies to promote and improve these regional programs, but also because we saw the need to improve the language skills of these teachers, as well as to train them in the 21st century, active pedagogies and the use of ICT for pedagogical purposes. We foresaw that by directly involving teachers, students would also benefit from all this learning and improve their soft skills and competencies. We also set out to involve more active teachers in future Erasmus projects with student mobilities.
