Objectives

As secondary school teachers interested in educational innovation, in inclusive school methods and the internationalization of our school, we set out to achieve the following objectives: - Improve the language skills of teachers in the bilingual program - Observe how other European schools work and how a bilingual school is managed in a system different from ours - Improve our knowledge about inclusive education in Europe, the implementation of active and innovative methodologies and digital tools - Encourage participation in our activities within the Erasmus project for students at risk of leaving the educational system early, students with economic needs and ACNEAES students - To improve the international dimension of our school by making our students acquire a broader vision of the cultural and linguistic environment of the European space - Establish international relations and cooperation with other European centers, which may have a positive impact on the entire institution - Create a habit of teamwork through the program and create an Erasmus + commission

Background

After a long European trajectory in the Intermediate and Higher Level Training Studies, we wanted to enrich this experience by applying for an Erasmus + school KA101. We were convinced that a project of this type is one of the best tools to improve the European INTERNATIONALIZATION strategies of our school, as well as to increase the TEACHING COMPETENCE of teachers through the use of ACTIVE METHODOLOGIES and to achieve an INCLUSIVE EDUCATIONAL MODEL. Likewise, one of the fundamental objectives of IES Andalán has always been to provide all our students, students of the bilingual and non-bilingual program, with the necessary and appropriate skills that GLOBALIZATION and MULTICULTURALITY in today's world demand. Another characteristic that defines our school is SUSTAINABILITY and ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY, quality standards shared with the Erasmus program. All these characteristics, being able to deepen into its different dimensions and fully implement them in our IES were the reasons why we applied for the project.
