The objective is to advance the school's Multilingual Program (teaching of non-linguistic subjects in FL, French and English, with an integrated methodology, this is, CLIL) and, in general, the communicative competence of the teaching staff in FLs; secondly, the updating of new teaching methodologies that allow the active participation of students and with inclusive approaches; and finally, the improvement in school management tasks to optimize processes, times, spaces and resources. They have been the three key objectives of our project. Training in foreign languages and the cultural knowledge they bring, the use of ICT and active methodologies in the classroom and the application of new proposals and ideas in school management processes will contribute to improving the educational quality of our school, what will have an impact on students and teachers and will meet the needs that today's society demands, placing our high school at a high level of reference in the educational context of the city.
We have worked on previous projects and we have verified the benefits that this type of experience brings to the high school, both for the teaching staff and for the students and the entire educational community in general. A new management team leads the high school, new ideas and new challenges arise, but there is also a spirit of continuity, consolidation and improvement of the success achieved to date. The European dimension in training experiences is one of them. The improvement in the mastery of foreign languages by teachers and students is a priority objective for the center, therefore achieving real multilingual learning contexts through the Erasmus+ Program is an opportunity that we do not want to give up. Maintaining professional relationships with other European centers has become a common practice in the high school, both due to the visits we receive and the outings we make. These relationships create highly positive and enriching work and professional exchange contexts that reinforce our teaching practice and open up a world of new learning possibilities for students.
