Teachers understand that they are responsible for providing their students with the tools that will contribute to their integral development, that we are living in a time of change, where the resources they used before are no longer suitable for providing effective responses to the new demands of a global society. The offshoring of work, the knowledge of Europe and the principles of inclusion, mobility and digitalisation are already a fact, so they were willing to collaborate to achieve common goals and overcome the obstacle of the language barrier. The members of the consortium share their need to: - Learn about new methods of inclusion in the school and in the classroom, as well as different educational systems and how they use these methodologies. - Gain knowledge of the current recommended procedures for bridging the gaps related to inclusion. - Analyse didactic units designed to convey knowledge of Europe. - Deepen their knowledge of the English language. - Establish links with people from other countries. In addition, all schools show interest in participating in ERASMUS+ projects coordinated by the CFR Ferrol.
The consortium organised by CFR Ferrol and formed by the following schools: CPI Virxe da Cela - Monfero, CPR Santiago Apóstol - Narón, CEIP Os Casais - Fene, IES de Mugardos and CPR La Salle - Ferrol aimed to implement a European Development Plan (EDP) which was approved by their teaching staff. The element of cohesion shared by these schools is the motivation of their management teams, their staff and their educational communities with a view to their internationalisation, which encourages their teaching staff to carry out training activities in the EU that will enable them to: - improve their educational projects; - improve their professional teaching competences; - encourage the improvement of the competences of other professionals in the school; - optimise the teaching-learning process of the students, as a result of the transfer of knowledge that the beneficiaries of the training will do once they have received it. Thus, the training activities chosen are part of the educational project and respond to the needs of the schools, all of which show great interest in the topic of inclusion and European citizenship, with a main focus oon the students and the quality of teaching.
