Our aims would be: Training English language course: • Continuing our school internationalization process. • Providing the chance to our teachers to get a quality training. • Improving the English competence to an European level. • Offering to our students a quality education in English language. Jobshadowing: • Giving the chance to our teachers to get the professional training to European level, knowing different education systems, methologies and resources. This experience could be included in our daily teaching • Offering to our students a holistic education. We want them to feel inside this European project. • Integrating our students. We give them the chance to a better development as their familiar situation can´t provide them. The two teachers who will do the activities have been chosen because: • Their interest in European projects as a way to internationalize the school. • Their knowledge in English language. • Their experience in other European projects. Concerning to the activities: • The English language course will contribute to improve our teachers training to develop our school internationalization process. • The jobshadowing activities, in Finland and Portugal, will assure this process of internationalization and renewing our methodologies and resources.
This Project has been designed to foster the English language competence,specially the oral skills. Our students belong to a medium-low sociocultural setting and we think that fostering their English language competence would be a chance of future. Because of this, our teachers will take a training course en English language to ensure an effective communication with the partners. Concerning to the jobshadowing, we have chosen Finland and Portugal that lead the educational innovation, to provide us new methodologies that invigorate and renew our teaching.
