The main aim was the appreciation and learning of the different methodologies and resources used while teaching different subjects in other countries. Moreover, another aim was getting to know the internal running of these subjects’ departments, the structure and organization chart of the centre, focusing on the Principal, Vice-principal, Complementary and extracurricular activities, mediation and educational guidance (psychology). Apart from this main aim, the objective of the mobility to Italy was to consolidate the contact network with the Italian teachers who made a Job Shadowing in our school (2018-2019), and besides, to create a new contact network with other teachers experts in Geography, History and History of Art from the High School Sassetti Peruzzi, where our Job Shadowing was carried out. We considered that this experience could allow us in a near future to develop an Erasmus + K229 project where both students and teachers from the two educational centres could be involved, with the aim of developing an innovative project to work the contents of History and Geography, as well as those of our subjects.
We believe that applying for this project could bring great benefits to our educational centre and teachers. Regarding the mobility to Finland, we consider that it was important to visit other centres in foreign countries to learn from them, both in an organizational and academic level. Due to the fact that Finland has been a model to follow in education with a high degree of achievement in different European reports, we had as main objective to get to know better the internal functioning of its educational system in order to share it with our educational community here in Spain. As for the mobility to Italy, firstly, our main aim was to know first-hand the didactic methodologies used while teaching History, History of Art and Geography in an Italian educational centre with similar feature to ours here in Spain. Secondly, we wanted to do an exchange of ideas and projects with experts in our field, as well as we wanted to know the management and organization of an Italian centre similar to ours so that it implies a professional enrichment.
