Objectives

The main objectives in the field of mobility and cooperation, which emanated from the needs identified at the time of the application, were: + To promote the European dimension/internationalisation; within our European development plan. + To continue to participate in European eTwinning and KA2 projects so as to involve an increasing number of teachers and pupils and to encourage an improvement of their skills and abilities. + Improve the English language skills (in general) of our teaching staff and increase the possibilities of teaching their subjects in English (fully and partially, CLIL), so that pupils have better communication skills for the development of projects with other pupils from European centres and for their professional future. + To modernise, adapt, innovate and improve the quality of teaching, applying more inclusive, inclusive and creative methodologies, thereby increasing student motivation and academic results. + To establish solid contacts with other European centres in order to generate a medium-term relationship for cooperative work between students from the different centres contacted.

Background

The IES el Quint applied for the project in order to continue with the internationalisation of the school. After carrying out another KA101 project that aroused the interest of the teaching staff and another KA229 that motivated the students, it was decided to apply for this project to improve the teachers' skills and then apply it in the classroom and in our organisation. It was also intended to consolidate the interest in the opening of the centre abroad with the new offer of mobilities to teachers, which would increase the number of teachers involved in Erasmus projects and in the application of learning and experiences lived in the different destinations, and that thanks to the Erasmus+ funds could be carried out, as it has been. Undoubtedly, the project has been greatly affected by the effects of the pandemic (it was approved in second instance in December 2019) and it has not been possible to carry out mobilities until the summer of 2022, shortly before the end of the period (once extended). Despite this difficulty, which has led to changes and some modifications, the project has been able to be carried out, achieving the objectives satisfactorily, according to the general assessment of the members of the centre.
