Objectives

The project "Mirroring Europe in terms of ICT, active methodologies and linguistic competence", was designed to be carried out in two years. Its objective was to offer our educational community the opportunity to compare ourselves to European centers by sharing good practices and experiences with other students and teachers from different cultural backgrounds. Currently, our center has 754 students, 43 teachers and a wide network of extracurricular activities and complementary programs. We have implemented bilingual teaching in Infant, Primary and Secondary Education and we have adopted methodological approaches that place students at the center of their teaching-learning process. Hence, the areas for improvement previously detected and, consequently, the project objectives that have been strengthened are: - ICT - Active methodologies - Linguistic competence

Background

We initially applied for this Erasmus + project because its development would give us the opportunity to improve and learn from other European organizations through training courses and job shadowings that would allow the creation of future networks and the establishment of international synergies. We need willing and dynamic schools, capable of adapting to the new times and aware of the potential inherent in acquiring a European dimension. Based on this firm belief, this project had the support of: families, management team, teachers, teacher training center, etc., since this commitment would mean an unbeatable internationalization opportunity.
