After having carried out the SWOT analysis, we observed that we needed tools to motivate and to get our students more involved through an inclusive methodology that would make them feel their learning process as their own. Therefore, we focused on the formation of the teaching staff throughout Erasmus+ mobilities in the following objectives: - To provide the teachers with competencies to motivate and make their students more participative of their learning process with a more inclusive methodology. - To improve the linguistic competence of the teachers in any of the official languages of the European Union. - To strengthen the bonds with the rest of Europe by increasing the contact with other European teachers in order to facilitate future proyects. To join efforts among teachers. - To include strategies based on multiple and emotional intelligences to our daily work.
Taking into account the characteristics of our centre in order to identify the needs of our school, we carried out a SWOT analysis, which was quite useful to focus on our objectives and to suggest proposals that help us to reach our goals in a realistic manner. The results of such analysis were the following: Strengths: Motivated teaching staff, excited to help students to get oriented and develop the different skills that they have. Being able to offer different options and to offer personalized, specific objectives that answer the needs of our so diverse students. Weaknesses: school dropout, high number of expulsions from the classroom and from the school, disruptive students, not integrated immigrants, as well as school failure. Opportunities: The Erasmus+ projects would make possible for our teaching staff the acquisition of knowledge and tools which would improve the motivation and integration of the students in their learning-teaching process and would achieve a more active participation. Threats: some disadvantaged families in the area with very few resources and opportunities to offer to our students.
