Know measures of attention to diversity and ways of including different groups in the classroom and how to assess the suitability of their application in our educational context. We were especially interested in those developed in different European educational systems. Experiment with different methodologies of proven success to increase the motivation of students in the classroom and avoid early dropout. Find out other strategies that allow us to make our students take responsibility for their own learning, knowing their strengths and weaknesses, to continue learning throughout life. Get students familiar with European documents to improve their employability. Make our students aware that there is a working life outside the regional and national borders. Train our students to become full European citizens with their rights and duties through the development of key skills. Provide the students of our school with strategies to guarantee them better conditions in work and personal life. Improve the internationalization of our secondary school, requesting a key action 2 project to also include our students.
In the school, data on school dropout, effectiveness of recovery programs for pending subjects or areas were analyzed and compared with the measurement of indicators approved by the Andalusian Agency for Educational Evaluation. It emerged that they were decreasing each year but the rate of school dropout was increasing. This circumstance, together with the loss of a line in the 1st year of Post-Secondary, led us to estimate that the areas most in need of improvement were the new teaching tools or methods, the organization of teaching and learning, and attention to diversity. All this coupled with a desire to internationalize the school and search for new training opportunities outside the local and national scope for participating teachers. We established our objectives, we went into detail and the project was carried out to find successful tools and enrich them with good practice shared by colleagues from other countries. Only training courses were requested because, being a new school in Erasmus + projects, we did not have the knowledge, contacts and tools to carry out other types of activities.
