With the implementation we wanted to achieve and we have achieved the following objectives: - The internationalisation of our school has been strengthened and the European identity of our students has been enhanced. - The quality of our bilingual project has increased, improving the French and English language skills of teachers and pupils and projecting a more attractive image of the school in the local context. - We have developed and improved the digital competence of teachers and pupils. - We have learned about the work of other schools in Europe in CLIL methodology and active methodologies through ICT tools and applications in the classroom which have favoured cooperative work and have aroused the interest of our pupils. - We have exchanged experiences and activities with European schools, thus mutually enriching each other and enabling us to carry out future projects that represent a qualitative leap in the teaching and learning process.
Our Erasmus journey began in the 2018-19 academic year and, currently, there are already three projects developed for the benefits obtained. This is the second KA101 and a KA229 in which we are currently embarked. Our school is a difficult one, as it has more than 20% of pupils with educational inclusion needs: risk of social exclusion, NEETs, ethnic minorities... To compensate for this, we develop projects, integrated transversally in the programmes, which promote innovation, a more active teaching and focused on cooperative work. They constitute our model of inclusive school. In addition, our school develops a French Bilingual Project. We consider it very important to improve linguistic competence in English and French and openness to new methodologies that cater for diversity and arouse interest due to the complexity of teaching non-linguistic areas to students like ours who show many difficulties due to their socio-educational deficiencies. For this reason, we have applied for the project as it allows us to continue to enrich our European Development Plan, maintain the interest of our pupils and families and avoid absenteeism.
