The specific objectives we wanted to achieve with this project were the following: - To acquire the knowledge to be able to design and develop strategies to promote well-being and happiness in the centre, for students and teachers, with the aim of generating inclusive spaces of coexistence that favour the development of the talents and abilities of each person. We understand that high levels of subjective well-being among students have a positive impact on their motivation, and therefore on reducing failure and early school dropout rates. - To familiarise ourselves with different tools that allow us to draw up a vertical project for the centre that covers all the educational stages, from the second cycle of Infant Education to Vocational Training. In this vertical project we want to work on the competences that bring us closer to our objective of well-being and sustainability, also contributing to educating future citizens capable of thinking critically, creatively and scientifically. The competences to be worked on are articulated in the following blocks: ways of doing and working; ways of thinking; ways of being and feeling; ways of living and relating. - The learning of new perspectives, processes, methodologies and tools to contribute to the well-being (emotional, physical, transcendence) of their students, from different perspectives (methodological, inclusive measures, etc.) from different perspectives (methodological, inclusive measures, healthy living habits, spatial, temporal organisation, coexistence, etc.). The training identified, in Italy and Cyprus, could help us to this end. - Learning how to create a wellbeing plan for the classroom and becoming familiar with the basics of positive psychology in order to promote the personal self-knowledge of both pupils and teachers as a resilient person with the ability to overcome difficulties and look forward. - Establish contact with teachers attending structured courses of other nationalities with the aim of establishing future alliances to promote future school exchange mobility projects, and to acquire significant learning in the field of well-being and sustainability. - To promote the school's multilingual project, making visible among the teaching staff and the educational community the importance of improving language skills, increase international opportunities for the teaching staff in order to raise awareness of living as global citizens. - To analyse welfare markers in the field of education from a European identity perspective.
We requested this project in line with the reflective process initiated a few years ago to define the educational project that would best adapt to current and future challenges and a competence model that would respond to them. Thus, we defined as the centre's objective to achieve the well-being of our students and teachers, and to this end we established the axes-objectives that were to guide the educational project of Xúquer Centre Educatiu: Inclusion, Sustainability and Humanism, all with a competency framework that defined: ways of doing and working; ways of thinking; ways of being and feeling; ways of living and relating. With this project we aimed to acquire the knowledge, reflections and tools, contrasted as valid, to work from a humanistic, inclusive and holistic perspective with the pupils, to transfer this knowledge to our centre, and to build new strategies that would allow us to improve the design of the organisation of the teaching activity; the empowerment of the team created to carry out the transformation process and the internationalisation of the centre; and the creation of working groups that would allow us to apply the knowledge and practices acquired at the different educational levels.
