- Continue deepening the concept of inclusion and inclusive practices in the European framework. - Share the inclusive programs and activities developed by the host schools in order to improve our practice. - Observe methodologies and practices of education of people with disabilities in other European educational systems. - Know new technological tools and innovative teaching practices within the framework of Special Education. - Deepen the use of Information and Communication Technologies and technical aids as tools for inclusion and improvement of access to learning for students with intellectual disabilities. - Offer the team of professionals the possibility of developing awareness of the European dimension through periods of observation in educational centers of the European Union. - Improve professional skills and improve the continuous training of the participants. - Establish contact with other European professionals to generate educational networks that facilitate exchanges between students with disabilities (through e-twinning and Erasmus+ Accreditation). - Continue delving into innovative methodologies in the field of Special Education.
The decision to request this Project has been based on the reflection and analysis of the context itself and the training needs that we consider as professionals. Having the opportunity to participate in this Project is a good way to motivate the team of professionals. The training stays in other countries and the reception of other centers in Andorra, as well as the observation of new educational practices, have allowed us to learn about new methodologies and review our own. They have also had an impact on one of the pillars of Colegio Gloria Fuertes: continued participation in educational research and innovation projects. Finally, the opportunity provided by the exchange of educational practices within the framework of the European Union would allow us to continue improving quality education for people with intellectual disabilities from the inclusion model that is being applied in other countries. From the analysis of our reality, carried out in our educational community, the main areas of our organization that we wanted to improve and that are indicated in the objectives were established.
