Our school had two main goals when we started planning our project. - Improving pupils' learning and work through the use of digital and technological resources in class. - Improving language competence in the English language, in students and teachers alike. Regarding our school's involvement in "Digital Centres Programme", we wanted to achieve the following specific objectives: - Increase the digital competences in teachers and pupils. - Get to know the educational resources and digital tools to boost the key competences. - Boost ABP (Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos ) methodologies using technological resources. - Improve skills on the critical thinking of information among pupils. - Train the teaching staff on ICT skills so they can transfer that knowledge to the learning of students in the class.. - Boosting the use of ICT tools on students with special needs.
Our school was labeled as a Digital Center Programme by "Consejería de Educación Región de Murcia" in a basic category, Our school is intended that teachers and students alike acquire a deeper knowledge on the use of information and communication tools. Digital resources are considered as a support to improve children's cognitive capacities, These resources will help lower the rate of failure in school. Likewise, our project backs the internationalization of our school and the improvement of the english language competence in teachers and students. The jobshadowing mobilities and the TIC courses alike will help improve the English Language Skills.
