It is necessary to improve coexistence in our center to improve teaching-learning processes, reduce truancy and early school failure and dropout. Likewise, improving the feeling of belonging to the center and the vision of it, by the educational community, as a safe and optimal place for its development.
The need arises from the reality of the school, with a significant rate of truancy and school dropout without a minimum qualification. This truancy and school failure reverts to difficulties of coexistence. In addition, we consider that this influence is reciprocal, coexistence problems hinder adequate learning processes. In the center we had the need to know other educational realities of European context to learn different ways of managing coexistence.
