As regards our Secondary and Baccalaurate studies, we seek to extend and improve our common projects with the schools in Paris and Berlin. For this reason we want to undertake this bilateral training plan by which both our teaching and non-teaching staff will travel to our counterpart schools abroad in order to get to know their different ways of working, curricula and methodologies and establish a mutual subject validation protocol for our long-term exchange students. As regards Secondary studies we should also like to expand and improve our short-term exchanges and we are planning to start a new projects for our Baccalaurate students. We have planned to start students exchanges with Karolynska Gymnast in Örebro with 1st year Baccalaurate students during the next school year. We have already started a common project we have been working online at through padlet all along this past school year. This Erasmus+ project has been especially useful since it has allowed for the beginning of a new relationship with this new partner and the design common future projects. It has also helped us organize all our previous exchanges and common projects with European schools. This teachers' mobility has a triple purpose, since it includes all of the above mentioned and it is also linked to academic purposes, namely STEM ideas and methodologies. We have shared our science, technology and mathematics projects and we have linked them to other subjects through cross curricular contents. Third, we must not forget this is s Job Shadowing experience, by which our teachers have been able to observe other ways of working through their visit to the schools and attending other colleagues' lessons, in this case English, Spanish, Arts and PE, and also those subjects related to the STEM project: Maths, Science, Technology and Computer Science. Our teachers could observe the application of other technologies, different resources and know other educational systems and their organization. This knowledge acquired will later be incorporated into our teacher's daily teaching practice. Regarding our non-teaching staff mobilities we have chosen our Administration Head, since we would like the department to know first-hand how our partners' educational systems work and we wanted them to meet other administration staff, something particularly useful when it comes to understand the strategy needed to design exchanges and Erasmus+ programs and how to organize all the documentation involved in these projects. Our school non-teaching staff actively cooperates in the organization of international projects.
Internationalization is a key factor for our school. We take part in international programs both in our secondary school studies as well as in our vocational training studies and we are deeply involved in establishing long-lasting relationships with counterpart schools broad. The most important aim of establishing these relationships is getting familiar with other ways of working and being able to carry out specific activities that can have a direct impact in our students, and both our teaching and non-teaching staff. In the past, our school has already done several exchange programs with France and Germany. We have taken part in a Comenius and several Erasmus+ programs. Languages are an essential factor in our training offer. This is our 5th year in a row as one of the schools incorporating the English bilingual project in Comunidad de Madrid and we are also offering the Advanced French pilot program. We have also been offering short-term (one week) exchange programs with Berlin and Paris, and long-term exchange (3 months) with Paris. Our exchange programs stopped since the pandemic, but we took back our exchanges with Paris during the present school year and we are restarting the Berlin one during the next school year. We have also been doing teachers and students mobilities as well as students practice in companies abroad. Our vocational training students have this opportunity through our own Erasmus+ project as well as participating in Erasmus+ consortium projects led by other countries.
