We aimed at improving our strengths and providing high educational levels and standards, thus making the impact of this project last in the centre and achieving a reduction in the levels of absenteeism and school dropouts. Being our main purpose the need to improve the quality of the teaching practices of our teaching staff, we expected to produce an effect on the educational quality and cause an impact on the members of this educational community. We want to highlight the following objectives: improve school performance results applying good practices through new methodological systems as well as suitability, absenteeism and early school leaving rates; promote a positive coexistence climate, accepting diversity; promote measures of attention to the diversity of students according to their needs, improving learning related to the development and acquisition of linguistic and mathematical competences; promote the development of the competence in linguistic communication through cross curricular and interdisciplinary actions; promote internationalization; promote the use of the Information and Communication Technologies; promote the participation of the educational community; improve organisational aspects of the school.
This project has been requested with the main objective of getting both the partaker and the non-partaker teachers to improve their methodological strategies with the end goal of improving the positive academic school performance, enhancing the overall educational quality of CEIP La Jurada. The whole educational community will profit from this European-funded project: The teaching body, with the satisfaction of improving their good practices; the student body, with the new methodological lines will be happier and the dropout rate will be reduced; and the families will benefit by feeling proud thanks to the expected yet successful results on the academic performance and organisation of the school. Due to the observation of the good practices, the teachers’ strategies to perform the linguistic, mathematical and digital competences will be perfected, always with the main focus put on the attention to diversity and the inclusion of the students that require them in order to improve their teaching-learning process, both from the disparity of learning levels in the classroom as well as from the bilingualism and the difficulties that are generated from the acquisition of the second language. Its use will be at its maximum level.
