Our goal is to improve the quality of teaching at the center and promote the mobility of teachers in order to carry out training abroad that will help us improve our own English, obtain more language skills, gain fluency to be able to transmit it in the classroom. And after these trainings to be able to share it with the rest of the teachers of the school, as well as to carry out in the classroom with the students the methodologies and the new skills acquired. For all these reasons, it is necessary to bring our students closer to other realities, which help them to better understand the reality in which we live. In this way broadening their horizons and goals. And making them more educated and tolerant students, who contribute to the creation of a better and more civic society.
The initial idea to apply for the project was to visit a European country, in order to observe its educational reality. To be able to learn how the lessons are taught in the different subjects, to be able to talk with colleagues from that country. As well as seeing how the schools are organized and also observing the students, their efficiency and their motivation. Finally, due to the initial situation caused by covid and the impossibility of being able to visit other schools for this reason, the project has been more aimed at improving the English language skills of the participating teachers, which in turn will have repercussions on our students, since in our center we have a bilingual section in this language. In addition to learning about the culture of English-speaking countries, and the differences between the different areas, both linguistic and their inhabitants.
