1. To acquire and apply innovative and efficient methodologies that allow us to increase our students’ motivation, attend diversity and reduce absenteeism and early school-leaving. 2. To improve our teachers’ digital competence by learning to use the latest technological tools. 3. To update CLIL methodology amongst our bilingual teachers whose subject is non-linguistic. 4. To learn about school management models from educational systems with better results than those obtained in our country. 5. To promote European awareness amongst our school community.
Our school has traditionally been known in our area because of our opening to Europe and our constant promotion of European values. However, a school whose spirit is truly educational and which intends to give their students real quality teaching can never stop creating, planning and participating in various projects. As a result, this project proposal has focused mainly on the internationalisation and modernisation of IES El Palmeral. Our school’s main necessity is methodological renovation and constant change. We need to expand our school borders and be able to innovate and create new projects, adapting ourselves to modern times, growing and progressing in order to improve. Dynamism, mobility, exchange and European cooperation allow us to meet these needs for change and renovation in our organisation by innovating, in order to prevent stagnant teaching and learning methods. We want our school to continue providing quality education connected to the world and training our students from the academic point of view as well as allowing their comprehensive development to help them become better human beings and citizens.
