Our main aim has been to create a collaboration net among European educational centres that facilitated the launch of European projects to improve the teachers’ competences and skills through the direct exchange of experiences and training courses. This main aim is broken down as follows: A) TO IMPROVE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT AND COMMUNITY TIES: with a particular emphasis on bullying, school environment and family involvement; and environmental awareness. B) METHODOLOGICAL INNOVATION AS A DISCOURSE OF RENEWAL: improving teachers’ competences and creating a resource bank with the reports and materials from every mobility at the teaching staff’s disposal, encouraging the use of new methodologies, as well as the integration of new technologies in teaching-learning activities, team work and cooperative learning, having a positive effect on students’ motivation. c) TO ENCOURAGE PLURALITY, SUSTAINABILITY AND ACTIVE EUROPEAN CITIZENSHIP: to create a more sustainable, participative education center that takes advantage of its own diversity, aware of the opportunities provided by Europe.
We have applied for this project to widen our focus on internationalizing our Secondary Education Programme, taking advantage of our previous experience in the Vocational Training field. Our main ; aim is to create a strong European school net with a short-medium-long term perspective in mind to be able to achieve the objects set out in our Plan of European Development Within this project, several mobilities have been suggested to improve teachers’ good practices, together with training courses suitable for our most urgent needs, which were diagnosed in our previous analysis (internationalization; methodological update and innovation and improvement and reinforcement of our community) Besides, our plan has prioritized teaching skills improvements and strategies that enhance our students’ motivation. Our final target is to provide students with the suitable communicative tools in different European languages to ease their access to higher educational programmes.
