Given the needs directly related to internationalization detected in our center, both in terms of teachers and students, the objectives of our project are: 1. To help the personal and intellectual growth of our students and teachers, thus allowing them to participate in all those European activities and projects that are carried out in our institute. 2. To improve our multilingual program, so that not only the teachers, but also the students involved, improve their language skills. 3. To dynamize those subjects that are taught in English, so that students are more motivated and participate more. 4. To get more teachers to have training in English to better manage the multilingual program and, thus, facilitate the management of schedules and the grouping of students. 5. To have the possibility of offering more subjects in English within the multilingual program. 6. To promote European awareness with the mobilities of teachers and students. 7. To improve participation with other European centers. 8. T expand our contacts for future partnerships in KA2 projects.
During the 2014-2015 academic year, our center began its internationalization plan with a large number of projects and activities. From the beginning, the need to improve the language skills of students in English led to the implementation of a multilingual program. In addition, the participation in several Erasmus KA2 projects implied the need to increase the number of teachers with a good level of English to manage these projects and accompany the students. In addition to the multilingual program, the center also organizes language immersion stays abroad and exchanges with other European centers. This project was proposed to give a great boost to all the activities within the internationalization plan of the center and has been structured in various areas, according to the needs and profile of the participants. We have focused on English courses at different levels, even for the management team, with the aim of facilitating the involvement of more teachers and thus contributing to improving the quality of our daily work as well as future projects that we may undertake. We have also looked for CLIL methodology courses to energize the classes of the multilingual program.
