1. Improve the linguistic and methodological competence of the teaching staff around collaborative learning of attention to diversity that promotes participation, inclusion, equity and equal opportunities. 2. Expand knowledge, uses and resources of new technologies applied to the 21st century classroom to improve the digital competence of our students and teachers (Mobile Apps, Google Tools, Digitization of curricular materials) in order to be motivating for students and encourage citizen participation in today's digital society. 3. Improve school coexistence by implementing positive thinking techniques and strategies to manage stress and anxiety, as well as the positive management of emotions and conflicts to create the necessary environment to improve the learning process. 4. Promote the scientific-technological vocation of students, reinforcing, above all, the empowerment of our female students and reducing the female dropout rate. 5. Consolidate the European dimension of our school through European collaboration to develop sustainable learning networks that encourage active participation in the European knowledge society.
This project intended to consolidate the European dimension of the IES J.A. Zunzunegui, and pass it on to our educational community with the enthusiasm and motivation necessary to renew our educational practice. Hence, it was essential for us to empower teachers through training through international learning experiences. These significant experiences have promoted the renewal and updating of our educational practice by sharing experiences with teachers from all over Europe, which have helped us to contrast and value our professional practice and educational system in the search for ways and strategies to improve our teaching quality based on equity. In short, we needed creative and technologically innovative methodological proposals to connect with our students and improve their motivation to reduce school dropouts, and develop the necessary skills to be part of the Europe of the 21st century. Hence, we want to offer our community an innovative, modern and renovated school that learns and collaborates in a sustainable way with other European educational centers to actively participate in the European Development Plan.
