After carrying about several Erasmus projects based on monitoring of new methodologies, the resulting introduction of them to adapt the learning- teaching process to our current students and their characteristics, the college considered the possibility of creating our own methodological approach based this one on the uniqueness of each student and not on general features without caring if common methodology was the best for everyone. The school pursues the total immersion and, to get it, it tries to introduce its own methodological approach because general methodologies don't tend to consider all of students specific qualities so it can be considered exclusive and discriminatory. The college thinks that more particular the approach is, more inclusive can be considered. This kind of methodological approach tends to keep in mind all students specific needs, considering them, as it should be, the actual centre of educational process.
Meeting beforehand in order to detect the needs which took place in the school and keeping in mind that it was inside an educational project by itself (The Change) that meaning the process of addressing to new methodologies to get that one which fits to our characteristics best, Nuestra Señora del Valle College has considered the possibility of adopting our own methodological approach which, as it can be understood, will be adjusted to our student profile best so that we are allowed to reduce the withdrawal and failure in some subjets to the minimum, our main goal at the beginning of our experience in the Erasmus program several years ago. In order to get it, the school has considered necessary the monitoring of other approaches already consolidated which let us know the steps and ways needed to introduce our own approach, result of eclecticism coming from methodologies that other colleagues have already set in their different organizations.
