Our objectives were initially: Know the Italian educational system and the mechanisms it had for the correct integration of immigrant students. Detect the needs for coexistence and discipline that arose between the immigrant and native adolescent population. Develop democratic values that integrate cooperation between all cultures. Improve respect for human rights. Promote the integration of equality values. Search for resources and methods to meet these needs that we see in young people from all cultures that coexist in our society. Work for coexistence in respect for each cultural manifestation so that the result is authentic wealth for our society.
Interest in learning about educational measures put into practice in the educational system of another country of the European Union to care for and integrate immigrant students, since the area in which our educational center is located, receives students from other countries, mainly from Morocco. Observing the school support measures that are adopted in other countries, specifically in an immigranIt reception area and in educational stages similar to ours, is an enriching activity that can serve to improve the educational response demanded by this type of student, who It has different needs and demands, in some aspects, from the Spanish student body, trying to avoid the feeling of discrimination, something that makes their adaptation process more difficult, which can lead to an increase in school failure.
