The specific objectives of this project are: -To facilitate teachers and members of management teams the possibility of directly observing other methodologies and didactic approaches in the teaching-learning processes of students, encouraging the adaptation and active application of what they have learned to their daily practice. -To promote teamwork among teachers, through the exchange of best practices, the reflection and the implementation of improvements that make inclusion effective in schools. -To promote joint work between schools, encouraging reflection and action in organizational, methodological and innovative training aspects, in order to offer quality training for the benefit of their students. - To create networks for the exchange of best practices among teachers from different schools, both at regional and international level, in order to improve the teaching-learning process by transferring what has been learned to the classroom.
The Regional Centre for Training and Innovation (CAFI) is a place of reference for the professional development of teachers in the regional community of Galicia at non-university levels and depends on the Regional Government of Culture, Education and University (CEU). This project was born as another way to respond to the very specific needs of the project consortium and in order to promote its innovation and internationalisation. Its main aim is to try to reach educational excellence through jobshadowing in reference schools in relation to the subjects studied and the attendance of structured courses that complement them. The consortium's schools are at different stages of a process of transformation towards a more innovative, flexible and student-centred model. However, their small number of students and reduced teaching staff make it difficult for them to cope with the development of a KA1 project on their own. This is the reason why the CAFI, which is responsible for advising schools in its geographical area of influence, requests this project, in order to make it possible to open the doors of these schools to internationalisation.
