Our Internationalisation Programme prioritize every kind of exchanges with European institutions and other countries. It is expressly stated that our students must keep contact with different languages and cultures. The targets we have set are: - Improve linguistic competence in English and other languages. - Broaden the possibilities in other countries in order to pave the way for our students. - Incite our teaching staff to get involved in the internationalisation process. A number of them speak either English or French, but some don't. Real internationalisation needs to be based on the offer for students and the knowledge and training for teachers who, little by little, will be involved in this process.
Our centre is comprised of two different teaching types that link thanks to our teachers. It is a vocational training school as well as a secondary school. For years, we have been actively participating in educational programmes with international scope, in the former COMENIUS or LEONARDO DA VINCI programmes and since 2015 in ERASMUS+. We promote English linguistic programmes in secondary education, even in high school. We also promote projects such as ARCE, exchanges, eTwinning, etc. Some years ago, also our vocational training students started to participate in European programmes. Some students have carried out their workplace training in Italy and others their internship in German and French companies. The teachers have participated in job shadowing projects in France and Italy. High school students and the ones in the last year of secondary school take part in school exchanges in France and the German town of Dreieich. We also want to involve the vocational training students in international programmes.
