We have a department of Internationalization and Cooperation to show our commitment to the principles of Erasmus+ programmes. Our School Plan specifies the following objectives: 1. To promote the international dimension of IES La Rosaleda. 2. To strengthen the use of foreign languages. 3. To create opportunities for vocational education and training students so that they can take internships within Erasmus+ projects. 4. To develop projects with European partners to benefit the whole educational community. Involving students and staff. 5. To explore other ways apart from the Erasmus+ projects. We must clarify that our Internationalization and Cooperation department was set up after our application for this project. Therefore, our objectives and action guidelines referred above were outlined later. However, this change of orientation started in 2018 but we kept application for this project in mind at all times and as a result we consider that it is right that this final report has been made taking into account our previous experience
IES La Rosaleda has been taking part in European projects for more than a decade now because we believe in the many and important values that the European Union stands for and promotes, among others: democracy, freedom, progress and a policy of equal opportunities. Thus, IES La Rosaleda promotes and encourages its school community to take part in Erasmus+ projects. Our educational offer includes higher secondary education, compulsory secondary education and adult education, we also have 21 basic and intermediate level vocational education and training courses and 13 higher level vocational education and training courses. Our educational offer covers all the spectrum of the Erasmus+ programme: school education, vocational education and training, higher secondary education and education for adults.
