The objectives to be achieved with this project were the following: Promote the mobility of the students studying the CFGM so that they could have a more complete training, being competitive when joining the labor market; Promote equity and inclusion by facilitating access for students from disadvantaged backgrounds and with fewer opportunities than their peers; Shape a European identity, based on multiculturalism and promoting linguistic diversity; Getting our students to abandon the idea of living with their backs turned to Portugal, as has been happening; Promote their entrepreneurship, learning to behave autonomously and assuming responsibilities in decision-making; Improve the quality, evaluation and training of our students and teachers, through the experience of learning other teaching-learning techniques and processes, with a view to achievement of a better future; Improve the image of the Center, widening its international dimension, and increasing the complicity and work with enthusiasm of the entire educational community; Encourage ESO students to graduate and continue training in FP.
We are inspired by the idea of uniting two peoples that are very close in distance, but at the same time different in language, culture and society. Spain and Portugal go hand in hand before Europe and before the world, and what better way to go hand in hand than to start by training our students, protagonists of the future. Another of the reasons why the project was requested was to train prepared and qualified young people so that they could complement their practical education with the realization of the FCT in European companies, turning them into tolerant and supportive European citizens, prepared and with a vision of the future, and that they also completed the GM second-year training process. We intended, and have achieved, that our students achieve adequate levels of skills both in language learning and in the development of professional skills and knowledge with which they can respond to their future. In short, we request this project to promote Human and sustainable Development at all levels: individual, community and international. With the implementation of the project it was also intended to improve aspects of internationalization, modernization and innovation of our institution.
