The internationalization process of our institution is a long-term project in which we want to involve all the teachers, staff and students of our center. Specifically, with the realization of this project, we seek the participation of students in the search for an improvement in the quality of their academic training by accessing practical training in the country of destination that makes the training quality of our courses increase with the possibility of applying the theoretical and practical knowledge learned at the institute in other educational centers and companies in Europe. This project has been developed with the collaboration of the Italian educational center IIS da Vinci-Ripamonti, a center that shares at least the same specialties that we teach and which has provided us with the opportunity for our students to carry out training practices.
This project has been requested to meet the objectives set out in our internationalization project, such as reinforcing the international scope of the participating students, developing an awareness of European citizenship and identity among our young people, improving their employability, favoring the improvement of student skills, including learning to learn, linguistic, social and cultural skills and have access to new methodologies. We want the students of our school to achieve these objectives by carrying out training practices in educational VET schools and companies in other European countries. Our students, students who have little experience traveling outside our country, also few have left the Valencian Community, must be able to live the experience of doing internships in other European countries, which is a mean to increase their practical skills related to their training but also to improve their communication skills, social, foreign language, cultural knowledge and ultimately their European awareness, which enhances the student and prepares him for his next occupational future.
