OUR OBJECTIVES ARE THE FOLLOWING: 1. Improve and enrich our study plan after analyzing the contents and methodology in workplaces/companies in both sectors. 2. Acquire professional skills of good praxis/good practices in the Health sector, both for students and for teaching staff. 3. Consolidate links of permanent cooperation between our center and partner centres, companies or institutions and establish contacts with other new partners in European Union countries. 4. Promote the exchange of experiences and improve the professional competence of the students and teaching staff of our center, consolidating the relationship with the host partners. 5. The elimination of language barriers by improving the language skills of students to facilitate access to jobs or the development of professional activities in the international labor market.
IES Torreon del Alcazar, with more than 30 years since its incorporation into academic life in the city, is an active, dynamic and enterprising center that participates in different educational projects receiving awards for students and teachers involved in them. In 1996, the British Council-MEC Bilingual Project for ESO began, implying the internalization of academic life. Students participate in exchanges with the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Germany. We extend this experience to Higher Level Vocational Training with the first Erasmus Charter (2009), the ECHE in 2014-2020 and its renewal for the 2021-2027 period. With this project we wanted to involve the students and professors of Intermediate Vocational Training, mainly from the professional family of Health, and offer an opportunity for international training and a possible exit to the European labor market (UK (in its initial moment), Italy, Germany, Portugal and Ireland) as well as recognizing the quality training of these students in a sector that is so important to our society.
