The objectives of the project in its broadest sense are aligned with the visions of the European Union at the level of cohesion of European society while facilitating the mobility and communication of people within the Union. On the other hand, CIFP Don Bosco tries to offer students a quality education, open to Europe and the world. In the same way, our institution wants to be in contact with other centres in Europe, weaving networks of knowledge and collaboration, which result in the construction of a plural European society and at the same time cohesive around the universal values that Europe represents. Finally, at the level of participants, both students and teaching staff, we want to offer participants the opportunity to gain knowledge that would otherwise be very difficult to acquire. The fact of getting to know new places, different cultures, organisations, companies, ways of working and interacting with others, etc. All this would be very difficult to share without the mobilities offered by the Erasmus+ projects.
The CIFP Don Bosco includes in its strategic plan the objective of "instituting an international dimension in the centre in order to expand training opportunities for students and teachers, collaborate with institutions and companies in the European environment and develop innovation and solidarity projects". The Erasmus projects are at the heart of the school's international dimension, as we have been offering our students the possibility of doing their Workplace Training abroad for almost 20 years. Over time, the interest of both students and teachers has grown. Thanks to the Erasmus+ projects we have been beneficiaries of, we have been able to respond both to the demand of teachers and students as well as to the vision of the centre to institute an international dimension and position our entity at a European level. That is why we requested this project; to respond to the needs of students, teaching staff, the centre as an institution and at the same time to participate in the construction and development of the European Education Area by promoting quality employment and social cohesion.
