Objectives

Improve the level of foreign language competence, both by students and teachers, and simultaneously obtain an improvement in learning results, which will directly cause an increase in the employability and professional prospects of our students. Giving our students the chance to live internationalization experiences that will give them a broader vision of what it means to be a citizen of the EU; They will help them understand and respect other cultures, which we consider a basic aspect for integration and coexistence in a plural society; and will provide them with a series of basic knowledge and skills, not only useful for their professional development, but also for their own personal development, and that will accompany them for the rest of their lives, such as autonomy, adaptability, problem solving, work in team, sociability,... Offer equal opportunities for carrying out mobility to students with very different social and economic capacities, and who in many cases would otherwise not have the opportunity to live experiences of this type.

Background

We requested this project to offer possibilities to our students that foster integration and cooperation, and at the same time provide students with possibilities to improve their competence in foreign languages. Likewise, we believe that mobilities offer our students opportunities to travel, live experiences and acquire a set of learning that will serve them for the rest of their lives, such as autonomy, problem-solving ability, teamwork, adaptability... that as a whole, help them grow as people and at the same time, represent an increase in their employability and professional prospects. As for the teaching staff and the organization as a whole, we request Erasmus projects to generate an international center mentality, that the staff is involved in one way or another in the projects, it is essential for teachers to improve their competence in the foreign language, at the same time that they acquire a sufficiently open mindset to transfer to students the importance of concepts such as integration, cooperation, plurality, internationalization, concepts that are not acquired with books, but through their own experiences.
