The objectives of the project have been to go on with the internationalisation strategy of VET local consortium, in the path to reach an European Education Area by 2025; to strengthen and expand our European partners network of VET centers and companies; to provide professional training in Europe to students and recent graduates; to offer staff of local VET centers the possibility of participating in learning mobilites; to count with invited experts; to host our partners' students and staff, thanks to the collaboration of local community both from business and social sector; to disseminate Erasmus+ programme and its possibilities among stakeholders such as municipalities, training centers and public administrations at all levels; to use European tools to recognize learning experiences, namely Europass, as well as to raise awareness of European citizenship and its meaning.
VET Caudete in Europe III was a step forward in the internationalisation strategy started up in 2016 by a local consortium of VET organisations in Caudete, under coordination of its city council. After 3 years of collaboration in the framework of previous projects: "Caudete in Europe: Together we are +" and "Facing Challenges, seizing opportunities: VET Erasmus+ Caudete", partners in the consortium IES Pintor Rafael Requena, Albertina García Llorens Training Center, Meser Center Training Center and Caudete City Council submitted this new proposal so as to be able to go on offering learning experiences through European mobilities both for students and teachers of local VET organisations. Caudete City Council recognizes the value of Erasmus+ programme as a tool of social cohesion that allows to improve linguistic and intercultural competences highly demanded in the labour market and necessary to build on an European citizenship, the impact of projects being very positive for organisations, participants and local community alike.
