Through this project we intend to carry out objectives both at the center level and at students level: Our objectives, as a center are: - Promote innovation in our center through new learning methodologies and continue learning about teaching-learning methodologies based on active learning. - Improve linguistic communication skills in a foreign language - Improve the motivation and professional career of teaching and administrative staff, and interaction with other educational centers. The objectives of the mobility for our students are the following: - Allow students to learn about a different lifestyle and motivate them to leave their comfort zone - Improve their communication skills in a foreign language through linguistic immersion in the host country - Promote their interaction with young people of the same age from different countries, in the host environment - Improve their ability to find a job in the future thanks to the practice of job skills abroad - Allow them to directly experience the specific work skills of their profession in the host country and compare them with the skills of health technicians in our country.
Our institute is an educational center specialized in professional training cycles for the healthcare family. There are two intermediate level cycles, six higher level cycles and a specialization course in cell cultures. The intermediate level cycles that are taught in our center are: Nursing Assistant Technician and Pharmacy and Parapharmacy Technician. The latter, is a new cycle in our center that began in the 2020-2021 academic year. Our center is located in the city of Barcelona and hosts students from all over Catalonia. This project has been requested as an essential element in the quality and educational policy of our educational center. Through this project we wanted to share educational experiences, as well as to establish and consolidate alliances with centers abroad. On the other hand, this project has been requested to give the opportunity to the students of middle grades of vocational educational training, to carry out stays abroad that improve their both professional and personal skills. Most of our students show high interest in new learning experiences. The mobilities have been carried out under the format of company practices, which are part of their mandatory training period in work centers.
