Objectives

This project, which was born in 2019, intended to use all its budgetary capacity, but due to the health emergency situation during the years 2020 and 2021, it has been developed mostly in the last stage of its duration, having to request for this reason an extension of from 24 to 36 months (with the final end date of 9/14/2022). One of the biggest goals to achieve that we set ourselves at the time of executing the mobilities of this project, was to open the center to internationalization, that is, to continue doing it since we had previously established this objective but in the last two years there had been no could be so. So, this last year we have been able to carry out physical mobilities, which was the main objective of the entire project and also of the strategic plan of our institution, since we know that physical mobilities are the reason for the Erasmus+ program and represent a real added value to the experiences our students are getting. Most of the duration of this project has been very complicated due to mobility restrictions throughout Europe but finally in the last 4 or 5 months we have managed to execute almost 100% of the volume of the project and this is a result that has exceeded our expectations.

Background

With the request and execution of this project, it is intended to carry out the strategic guidelines of the center through a process of internationalization of our institution, from the point of view that we think that the international opening of our staff and students focuses us even more towards educational excellence, which we have certified since 2021 through the model of excellence, innovation and sustainability provided by EFQM (+300 points). These general strategic lines in the short and medium term suppose a generalized effort through the mobility commission (team) but also thanks to all the tutors of each training cycle, both in intermediate and higher grades, and the implication of the entire faculty and even their participation in international mobility experiences. Our training offer is made up of 30% of it in intermediate vocational training cycles and with the specific weight that our VET students have, it is an important area that is also intended to be internationalized through student and teacher mobility.
