Goals The objectives pursued with this project were the following: - Provide students with the necessary skills for the transition from the field of education and training to the labor market. - To improve the level of competences of the participating students and their ability to function personally and professionally in other societies and cultures of the European Union. - Expand, through this mobility, the professional and personal horizon of the students, creating awareness of the European space. - Improve the employability of students. - Contact training institutions from other countries in order to promote collaboration agreements between them and our center that allows for more continuous international cooperation. - Improve the linguistic learning of the participants.
Context/background The Institute of Secondary Education and Vocational Training Azuer is located in the town of Manzanares (Ciudad Real). In addition to compulsory secondary education and Baccalaureate, different families of Vocational Training are taught, such as: Installation and Maintenance; Electricity-Electronics; Mechanical manufacturing; and, Administration and Management. All of them are specified in Training Cycles of two differentiated levels: intermediate training cycles and higher training cycles. The Project is requested as a search for alternatives and expansion of opportunities for our students, who intend to improve their language skills, expand their employability and improve their professional and social skills. Number and type/profile of participants The profile of internship students is as follows - Number of participants: 5 students in total: 3 administration students, 1 electricity student and 1 mechanical manufacturing student - Gender: 2 men and 3 women - Ages: between 18 and 25 years; - Training: "Intermediate Degree in Thermal Installations and Fluids", "Intermediate Degree in Electricity", "Intermediate Degree in Administration and Finance"
