The goals foreseem for our students in this project were: - Linguistic Competence: We aimed that 100% of the students participating in the program would achieve competence and knowledge in a second language after finishing their training activity abroad. - Higher labor insertion: We are aware of the Erasmus contribution to increase our students' job insertion possibilities. Currently the employability rate of our students has increased to 90%. Concerning our teaching staff, the goals were: - International skills: A training experience in an international context that allowed them to build networks with teachers from other countries, assimilating experiences and a broader vision that will enrich their background and motivate them in their teaching work. - Language skills: Erasmus give way to improve communication skills in a second language. This turns to be an essential tool to establish European cooperation and a solid internationalization strategy in our school.
Our school has a vast experience in the Erasmus program. Since 2015 we started working with Erasmus in our higher degree VET courses in order to create an Erasmus culture in our community and give our students the opportunity to improve their training and education in an international and European context. Two years ago, the school board decided to go further and introduce Erasmus projects in our intermediate degree VET course, so nowadays all our students and teachers in the middle and higher degre take advanage of a European training and education. Currently we are pleased to see a full integration of the program in our Vocational Training. This project tried to give continuity to the one started in 2018 and go a step further by including Eurasmus training activities for our teachers and staff members. This gave them the chance to improve their linguistic competences in a second working language as well as greater capacity to work in a broader environment with solid internationalization strategy. We keep improving areas and weak points detected in our curriculum. This will be overcome in the medium-long term by giving continuity to the Erasmus program.
